Summary for Founders: We store only what is strictly necessary to run your profile, showcases, and messages. Anonymous posts hide your identity from other users. We do not sell your data.

1. Data We Collect

When you register and use Lattice, we collect and process the following categories of personal information:

Identity Data: Name, chosen username, and profile picture (via Google Sign-in or manual upload).
Age Verification: Date of Birth. Lattice strictly enforces an 18+ policy for all founders on the network.
Startup Information: Bios, project descriptions, venture pitches, pitch decks, and milestone timelines.
User-Generated Content: Public posts, comments, poll responses, and direct founder chat messages.
Technical Data: Device push notification tokens (FCM) to deliver alerts regarding messages, mentions, and votes.

2. Anonymous Posting Protocol

When you select the "Anonymous" toggle when posting:

Your public identity, avatar, and handle are concealed and displayed as "Stealth Founder".
Your UID is isolated from public feed readers in access-controlled subcollections.
However, in accordance with Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, content that involves criminal threats, fraud, harassment, or unlawful acts will be subject to internal moderation and legally required law enforcement compliance.

3. Purpose & Legal Basis for Processing

In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act):

Providing, personalizing, and securing your Lattice account.
Calculating daily founder streaks and computing Showcase competition standings.
Screening and moderating abusive, fraudulent, or harassing content via automated safety scanners.

4. Third-Party Processors

We rely on audited infrastructure partners to run the platform:

Google Cloud / Firebase: Authentication, encrypted Firestore database storage, and Cloud Messaging.
Cloudflare: CDN security, edge proxying, and automated content scanning.
Cloudinary: Image hosting and CDN asset optimization.

5. Account Deletion & Right to Erasure

Under Indian data protection laws, you retain full rights to inspect, rectify, or permanently erase your personal data from Lattice.

To delete your account and associated data: Send an email from your registered Google account to shubhfuseapp@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Your profile, featured items, and identifiers will be purged within 30 business days.
